Having babies with skin tones that needed clear vibrant colours to avoid looking ill, we often struggled to find suitable options amongst the often pale and pastel colours offered in the general infant clothing market.
We choose to use fibre reactive dyes over the less costly all-purpose dyes as we have found they provide far more vivid results. Fibre reactive dyes are the most permanent of all dye types. They are colour-fast and fade-resistant when applied correctly. This is because once applied, the dye molecule forms a bond with the fibre molecule. Once this bond is formed, the result is a single molecule, as the dye molecule has become an actual part of the fibre molecule.
When creating our products we ensure each item is thoroughly washed and rinsed to ensure it is ready for use when it arrives at its new home. We do however always recommend a separate wash in your preferred laundry detergent prior to use.
